- Through three games, Providence is undefeated and has not allowed a goal. The Friars took down Iona 2-0, Quinnipiac 3-0, and Rhode Island 1-0.
- In their last time out against the Rams, Meg Hughes scored the game-winner in the 26th minute. Shots were relatively even with the Friars holding the slight edge at 14-12, but URI put more shots on goal at 8-5.
- Tritons, in their third full season of Division I competition, have started the season with a 4-4 tie with Pacific, a 1-0 win over Sacred Heart, and a 2-0 setback to Oregon State.
- Raquel Kalpakoff, while coming off the bench in all three games, leads the Tritons with three goals on the year. All three came in the tie with Pacific.
- Brown is 22-11-0 all-time against Providence. Last season, the Bears took the 3-0 victory thanks to two goals from Ava Seelenfreund and one by Lucinda Anderson.
- This will be the first-ever matchup between the Bears and Tritons.
