Grant-Clavijo Signs with Peñarol in Uruguay

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Miya Grant-Clavijo '25 became the latest Brown Women's Soccer professional signee after inking a deal with Club Atlético Peñarol in Uruguay. A three-time champion for the Bears, Grant-Clavijo appeared in 63 career matches, collecting 12 goals and two assists.
No stranger to international play, Grant-Clavijo represented Canada in the U15, U17, and U20 National camps. Grant-Clavijo officially signed on March 18.
Grant-Clavijo's career on College Hill featured a three-peat (2021-23), as the Bears won the Ivy League Championships and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in all three seasons, going undefeated in league play.
