Women's Soccer Set to Host Columbia in the Ivy Tournament Semifinals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown women's soccer is set to host the 2023 Ivy League women's soccer tournament at Stevenson-Pincince Field on Friday and Sunday. The first game is against fourth-seeded Columbia at 5 p.m. The Bears are the No. 1 seed after claiming their fourth-straight regular season championship, while Columbia won their final two games to earn a spot in the tournament.
The winner will face either second-seeded Harvard or third-seeded Princeton on Sunday for the championship.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown capped off the regular season with a 11-1-2 record, including a 7-0-0 mark in the Ivy League for their fourth consectuve unbeaten Ivy season.
- Senior Brittany Raphino leads the team with 11 goals and adds six assist for 28 points. She leads the Ivy League in points per game (2.00).
- Senior goalkeeper Clare Gagne posted a 9-1-2 record in the regular season with a 0.48 GAA and .846 save percentage.
- Brown is ranked No. 5 in the nation in the NCAA RPI, 12th in the country by TopDrawerSoccer, and 14th by United Soccer Coaches.
- Columbia earned the four seed after finishing the regular season with a 9-3-3 record and 3-2-2 in the Ivy League.
- Senior Kat Jordan leads the team with seven goals with two assists for 16 points.
- In goal, senior Paige Nurkin has an 8-3-3 record with a 0.46 GAA and .887 save percentage.
- Brown defeated the Lions 1-0 in the regular season meeting on Oct. 14. Raphino scored 35 seconds into the match.
