PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 14/12 Brown Bears (11-1-2, 7-0 Ivy) defeated Dartmouth (7-3-5, 2-3-2 Ivy) 2-0 on Saturday afternoon on Stevenson-Pincince Field to clinch their fourth consecutive undefeated Ivy League season.
"It's an honor and a privilege to work with this team day in and day out," said Kia McNeill postgame. I love watching warm-ups and seeing what the back of our shirts says; champions do more. It's what we started with in August and here we are. It's the commitment, sacrifice, and testament to what you poured into representing this university."
WATCH POSTGAME CELEBRATION
After a scoreless opening half, Sheyenne Allen capped a beautiful play with her third goal of the season. At the 50:55 mark, Allen followed her corner kick with the game's first goal.
Brown made it 2-0 at the 76:04 mark as first-year Audrey Lam scored off a rebound, her second consecutive game with a goal. The goal gave Brittany Raphino her 99th point as a Bear (assist).
The Bears were aggressive offensively in the second half with 10 shots and the defense held their opponent scoreless for the seventh time in 2023.
