Joseph Rizzi joined the Brown Athletic Communications staff in September of 2024.
He earned his Master of Arts in Sports Communication from Emerson College in May of 2025.
Prior to arriving at Brown, he worked with the Newport Gulls summer collegiate baseball team as an assistant broadcasting director and graphic designer.
He attended the University of New Hampshire where he was the president of the men's club lacrosse team, graduating in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
At UNH he covered multiple varsity sports for the student newspaper as well as being a regular contributor to the campus radio station.
