Men's Hockey Hosts Colgate and No. 10 Cornell in Weekend Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (4-16-0, 3-9-0 ECAC) return to Meehan Auditorium to host the Colgate Raiders (9-13-2, 6-5-1 ECAC) on Friday and the 10th-ranked Cornell Big Red (14-5-0, 9-3-0 ECAC) on Saturday.
Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with Saturday's puck drop set for 5 p.m. Both games will stream on ESPN+ in the United States and on Stretch Internet internationally.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters the weekend with a 4-16-0 overall record and 3-9-0 ECAC record. The Bears are tied for 10th in the league standings and are eight points shy of Yale and Colgate in sixth.
- Brown's offense averages 2.2 goals per game to rank 10th in the conference. Ben Poitras and Ryan St. Louis are tied for the team-lead in goals with six. Ivan Zadvernyuk leads the team with 10 assists and 15 points. His five goals are third-most on the Bears.
- Brown's power play has three goals in 52 attempts (5.8%). Poitras, Zadvernyuk, and Michael Salandra each have one power play goal this season.
- Defensively, Brown allows 3.6 goals per game to rank 10th in the conference. Goaltender Tyler Shea holds a 2.97 goals against average and .919 save percentage in 13 starts.
- Shea has started the last four games and holds a 2.26 goals against average andn .941 save percentage in that span.
- Brown's penalty kill clicks at 70.6% (48-68).
- Colgate enters the weekend with a 9-13-2 overall record and 6-5-1 ECAC mark. The Raiders are seventh in the league standings.
- Most recently, Colgate fell at home against Harvard before taking a 5-2 win over Dartmouth.
