As part of Youth Day, the Bears welcomed local players from Fox Point Little League and the Pawtucket Slaterettes Girl's and Women's Baseball League.
Junior Mark Henshon combined for three hits, a run and an RBI in the two games. Senior Nathan Brasher scored three runs on the day and junior Logan Meusy had two hits including a triple in game one.
GAME ONE
Harvard put a man on base in every inning, including the leadoff batter on base in seven of the first eight innings. Six different Bears had one hit apiece in game one, with Meusy picking up two, including a triple.
The Bears put a run on the board in the first for the early 1-0 lead with Gunner Boree smoking a double past the third baseman and later scoring on a ground ball by Brasher. The Crimson took a 2-1 lead in the top of the second courtesy of a leadoff single and a two-out, two-run homer that just cleared the left-center field fence.
The Bears answered back to tie the score in the second as Henshon led off with a double and came in to score with two outs when Meusy hammered a triple past the left fielder.

Harvard took control of the game with four runs across the fourth and fifth innings to take a 6-2 lead and getting into the Bear's bullpen. Harvard pitcher Gio Colasante delivered a big offensive blow in the sixth inning with a two-run double down the line in right to make it 8-2.
After the Crimson added two more in the seventh, Brown came back with three of their own in the bottom of the inning, breaking up a stretch of seven in a row retired by Harvard pitching. The Bears got five hits in the inning, including three infield hits with RBIs coming from Brasher, Mika Petersen and Brandon Chang to pull within 10-5.
Harvard tacked on two runs, one of which was unearned in the ninth to finish off the 12-5 win.
GAME TWO
Harvard put four runs on the board on four hits while batting around in the second inning after loading the bases with nobody out, with the big blow coming on a two-run single with two outs.
The Crimson doubled their lead with four more runs in the fifth inning on three hits, including a bases clearing three-run triple with two outs off the top of the center field wall by Sawyer Feller.
Brown got on the board in the sixth with four consecutive walks to start the inning and chase starter Truman Pauley from the game. An RBI fielder's choice and a wild pitch scored two more runs for the Bears to make it 8-3 without the benefit of a hit in the frame. Pauley struck out 10 batters over 5.0+ innings of work.
After Harvard got two runs back in the top of the seventh, Brown countered with two runs in the bottom of the seventh as Boree led off with a triple and came in to score on a single by Petersen. Brasher added another run on a wild pitch to make it 10-5.
The Bears will play their final road and non-league game of the season this Tuesday evening, April 29 when they travel to Worcester to take on Holy Cross. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
