Men's Lacrosse Heads to #3 Princeton for Ivy Matchup

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (3-7, 0-3 Ivy League) return to the road to take on the third-ranked Princeton Tigers (8-2, 2-1 Ivy League) on Saturday in the Garden State. Tomorrow's game is scheduled to begin at noon and will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears enter the weekend looking to snap a three-game skid and pick up an Ivy win over the Tigers.
- Brown's offense averages 8.30 goals per game with Aidan McLane leading the team with 16 goals. McLane and Marcus Wertheim are tied for the team lead in points with 22.
- Brown's man-up offense clicks at .280 with seven goals in 25 attempts. Wertheim leads the Bears with three EMO goals.
- Defensively, Brown allows 10.60 goals per game to rank fifth in the Ivy League. Connor Foley holds a .560 save percentage and 10.46 goals against average in nine starts.
- The man-down defense ranks fifth in the Ivy League at .594 (19-for-32).
- Dash Sachs ranks fourth in the Ivy League with a .514 faceoff percentage. He also has a pair of goals this season.
- Princeton enters the weekend as the nation's #3 team per the USILA Coaches Poll with an 8-2 overall record and 2-1 Ivy mark.
- Princeton holds notable wins over Penn State, Duke, North Carolina, Harvard, and Dartmouth with the lone losses coming to then-#2 Maryland and then-#6 Cornell.
- Princeton's offense averages 12.10 goals per game to rank third in the conference and 21st nationally. Coulter Mackesy leads the team with 31 goals and 42 points. Nate Kabiri leads the Tigers with 17 assists and ranks second with 32 points.
- Princeton's man-up offense has 11 goals in 17 attempts (.647) to lead the nation.
- Princeton's defense allows 10.50 goals per game to rank fourth in the Ivy and 36th nationally.
- Ryan Croddick has started all 10 games in goal and holds a .580 save percentage and 10.48 goals against average.
- Princeton's faceoff unit ranks sixth in the conference and 67th nationally at .424 (111-262).
- Saturday marks the 63rd meeting between Brown and Princeton dating back to 1964.
