Men’s Lacrosse Hosts No. 8 Princeton on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's lacrosse team (5-3, 0-1) will resume Ivy League play when it welcomes No. 8 Princeton (5-2, 1-1) on Saturday, the opening face-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

Scouting Brown
Brown concluded its non-conference slate with five wins, the most since the 2022 season, the Bears went 2-0 last week with wins over UMass Lowell (Mar. 17) and St. John's (Mar. 22).
Last week, Marcus Wertheim scored seven goals to go along with three assists, the senior ranks 10th in the Ivy League in points per game (3.25). Jeremy Hopsicker found the back of the net seven times last week and has a team-high 23 goals. Hopsicker ranks third in the Ivy League in goals per game (2.88) and second in total goals.
Connor Foley ranks second in the Ivy League in save percentage (.561), he also ranks in the top 20 nationally in save percentage and saves per game (12.63).Henry Brayer leads the Ivy League in ground balls per game (6.13).
Scouting Princeton
The Tigers will look to bounce back after falling to Cornell in their last outing (Mar. 21). Nate Kabiri leads the Ivy League in assists per game (2.29) and total assists (16). Kabiri also ranks sixth in points per game (3.86).
Ryan Croddick ranks in the top 15 nationally in save percentage (.560) and saves per game (12.71).
History
Saturday marks the 64th matchup between Brown and Princeton, Princeton leads the all-time series 28-35.
The Bears are 6-4 in the last 10 matchups with Princeton. Brown's last win against a ranked opponent came against then-No. 13 Princeton (Apr. 13, 2024).
