No. 15 Women's Hockey Travels to Colgate and Cornell for Weekend Trip

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – No. 15 Brown women's hockey hits the road for two ECAC games this weekend as the Bears will travel to No. 11/10 Colgate on Friday (Oct. 31) and No. 4 Cornell on Saturday (Nov. 1).
Both games over the weekend will be streamed on ESPN+ and puck drop is set for 3 p.m. on both days.
THE PUCK DROP
• Brown is back in the Top 15 for the first time this season. The Bears entered both the USCHO and USA Hockey poll after beating No. 7 Quinnipiac and beginning the season 3-0-1.
• The Bears took down No. 7 Quinnipiac on Saturday (Oct. 25) as Rory Edwards shutdown the high-powered Bobcat offense with her fourth-career shutout and second-straight against Quinnipiac.
• India McDadi scored her sixth game-winning goal of her career with a goal in the third period against Quinnipiac
• Margot Norehad leads Brown with three points after assisting on McDadi's goal. Norhad is tied with Monique Lyons for a team-high two goals.
• Brown has scored a goal in all four games this season. The Bears have now scored a goal in 10-straight regular season games since a 0-0 tie at Quinnipiac last season (Jan. 25). The last time Brown was shutout in a regular season loss was Nov. 17, 2024 against Yale, a stretch of 19 games. It is the longest gap between shutout losses since a 23-game span in the 2005-06 season.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
• Colgate is 4-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in ECAC play after the Raiders lost at Dartmouth and won at Harvard last weekend.
• The Raiders have scored at least three goals in six of their eight games this season.
• Emma Pais leads Cornell in both goals (8) and points (14) on the early season.
• Colgate has used two goalies so far this season. Brooke Davis holds a 1.82 GAA and .941 save percentage to lead the team.

• Brown is 12-33-3 all-time against Colgate and has currently lost the last 13 meetings with the Raiders.
