Women’s Soccer Welcomes Indiana on Sunday Evening

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's soccer team will welcome Indiana on Sunday evening, kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and NESN.
Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at Brownbears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival. There is a no re-entry policy in place for all ticketed athletic events at Brown University, once you have scanned your ticket to enter, you must remain inside the venue.
As part of an effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our spectators, Brown Athletics has implemented the following bag policy at athletic events.
Backpacks, duffel bags and other multi-compartment bags are NOT permitted into the venue. Brown Athletics does not provide any storage for prohibited bags and/or items. Bags are subject to be checked upon entry. Clear bags no larger than 12"x12"x6" or small wristlets no larger than (4"x6") are permitted and are strongly encouraged.

Scouting The Bears (0-1-1)
- Indiana is the first of three Big Ten opponents this season as the Bears will travel to Minnesota (Sept. 8) and Ohio State (Sept. 15).
- In their last contest, the Bears earned a 1-1 draw at Hofstra. An 88th minute goal from Kira Maguire tied the game off of assists from Naya Cardoza and Joy Okonye.
- The goal was the fourth of Maguire's career and Okonye's ninth-career assist, the sophomore led the Bears and the Ivy League with eight assists during the 2023 season.
- Bella Schopp has started every game in goal for the Bears and has made four saves.
- Indiana comes to College Hill sporting a 3-0 record to begin the season. The Hoosiers have picked up wins against Tennessee (Aug. 15), Ball State (Aug. 20), and Wright State (Aug. 29).
- Indiana returns 21 players from the 2023 roster, including 12 different goal scorers.
- This season, the Hoosiers have outscored their opponents 9-1.
- Jamie Gerstenberg has recorded two shutouts in three games this season, the Indiana goalkeeper was named the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the year last season.
- This is the first-ever matchup between Brown and Indiana.
- The Bears are 2-3-2 all-time against Big Ten opponents and 1-1 under head coach Kia McNeill.
- Brown's lone Big Ten win under McNeill came in the 2022 NCAA Tournament against Rutgers.
