Women’s Basketball Set for Road Trip to Columbia

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's basketball team is set to head to the Big Apple for a Friday night matchup at Columbia. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

- The Bears currently sit at 13-7 overall and 4-3 in the Ivy League, good for fourth place in the league standings. Brown is coming off two road losses at Penn and Princeton last weekend. The 4-1 start to the series was the best league start since the 2005-06 season.
- Brown's scoring defense ranks third in the league by allowing just 58.3 points per game.
- The Bears are holding opponents to 38.3 percent from the floor, the second-lowest in the Ivy League.
- Senior guard Kyla Jones ranks third in the league with 16.0 points per game and has 957 points for her career.
- Sophomore Alyssa Moreland leads the league in steals per game with 2.1. Sophomore Grace Arnolie sits second (2.0 spg) and Jones ranks fifth (1.8).
- Isabella Mauricio ranks second in the Ivy League in three-point field goal percentage (.322) and three-pointers per game (2.4).
