SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown is 3-1 to start Ivy play for the first time since the 2005-06 season, when the Bears started 11-1.
- A victory on Saturday would match the Bears' Ivy win total from last season. The four wins in league play would tie for the most since winning seven games in 2016-17. Brown beat Penn last season for its fourth Ivy League win, snapping a 21-game losing streak in the process.
- Brown opened Ivy League play with a strong 65-39 win at Dartmouth on January 6.
- Last Saturday, Brown pulled away from Cornell with a big 30-point fourth quarter, shooting 8-of-9 from the floor in the frame to take control.
- Jan. 6 at Dartmouth marked the first time Brown has allowed fewer than 40 points in an Ivy League game since it held Dartmouth to 39 points on February 23, 2013.
- Brown started fast and stayed hot in their win at Dartmouth, connecting on 10 three-pointers, tied for the second most this season, and shot 38.5 percent from beyond the arc, the third-highest percentage this season.
- Grace Arnolie had a career game last Saturday at Cornell, scoring a career-best 25 points and tying her career-high with nine field goals. Fifteen of her points came in the fourth quarter when she went a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor and 4-for-4 from three-point range.
- Isabella Mauricio has 163 three-pointers for her career, seven shy of tying Colleen Kelly '06 for fifth place. Mauricio started her career at Brown making a freshman-record 70 threes. Only four Bears have ever made 200 three-pointers in their careers.
- Kyla Jones has a chance to become the 23rd Bear in program history to hit 1,000 career points. Jones currently sits at 923 career points and is coming off a season where she scored 344 points. Jones is averaging 15.1 points per game in her career, which currently sits sixth in program history.
- The Big Green dropped a two-point decision to Yale last weekend, 48-46, a game where neither side led by more than six points.
- Dartmouth ranks 11th in the nation by allowing just 53.8 points per game this season. The 65 scored by Brown on January 6 is the third-most points allowed by Dartmouth in a game this season.
- Dartmouth commits just 10 fouls per game this season, the fewest in Division I.
- Junior forward Doreen Ariik is averaging 9.2 rebounds per game, second in the Ivy League behind Princeton's Ellie Mitchell.
- Junior guard Victoria Page is the team's leading scorer at 9.1 points per game.
- Dartmouth leads the all-time series 61-31.
- Brown has won 10 of the last 16 matchups, including the last four in a row, tied for their longest winning streak in series history.
