
Bears head north for weekend at Harvard and Dartmouth

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball remains on the road for two games this weekend as Ivy League play continues. The Bears will play at Harvard on Friday (Jan. 6) and Dartmouth on Saturday (Jan. 7).
Both games will be streamed on ESPN+. The game at Harvard will begin at 6 p.m. and the game at Dartmouth will tip at 5 p.m.

ABOUT BROWN
- Brown fell in its Ivy League opener to Penn 75-54. The Bears fell behind early to Quakers and could not pull back into the game.
- Grace Arnolie led Brown with 11 points and Kyla Jones finished the game with 10.
- Kyla Jones remains third in the Ivy League in scoring at 17.3 points per game and is 69th in the NCAA with that number. Jones also has two 30-point games this year, the most by a Bear since 2017-18.
- The Bears' defense continues to shine, leading the Ivy League in both blocks per game (4.2) and steals per game (11.5). Nationally, Brown sits 17th in steals per game and is 57th in blocks per game.
- Gianna Aiello continues to anchor the defense for Brown in the middle. After appearing in 19 games last season and averaging 12.1 minutes per game, Aiello has now started all 13 games for the Bears and is playing 18.2 minutes per contest. The sophomore is leading the team with 6.4 rebounds per game and is second on the team with 15 blocks and 20 steals.
- Harvard is 8-5 on the season and 1-0 in Ivy League play after beating Princeton 67-59 on Dec. 31.
- The win snapped Princeton's 42-game Ivy League win streak.
- Harmoni Turner leads Harvard with 18.6 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, 4.2 assists per game and 3.1 steals per game. Turner is shooting 39.5 percent from the floor, 36.5 percent from three and 86.5 percent from the free throw line.
- McKenzie Forbes and Lola Mullaney are also averaging double figures, scoring 13.8 and 11.7 points per game, respectively.
- Brown has lost 13-straight games to the Crimson, including a 77-73 loss in Cambridge last year.
- Dartmouth is 2-13 on the season and have lost its last six games, including a loss to Cornell to start Ivy League play.
- The Big Green are allowing over 70 points per game and are being outscored by 14 points per contest.
- Victoria Page leads Dartmouth with 9.3 points per game and 2.1 assists per game.
- Dartmouth leads the all-time series with Brown 59-30. The Bears and Big Green split last season's series with both teams winning at home.
