
Women’s Basketball Travels to Merrimack on Tuesday Night

Scouting the Bears (6-4)
- The Bears dropped its most recent contest 48-53 at George Washington on Saturday afternoon. Earlier in the week, Brown defeated Stonehill 74-46.
- For the sixth time this season, the Bears were able to hold its opponent to single digits in a quarter. Brown held the Revs to just four points in the opening 10 minutes.
- First-year guard Charlotte Adams-Lopez shot 50% from the field, and assisted on two baskets against the Revolutionaries.
- Senior guard Grace Arnolie was named Ivy League Player of the Week following her high-impact performances at GW and Stonehill.
- Arnolie shot 50% from the field, and 59% from beyond the arc on the weekend. She totaled 48 points over the course of Brown's two contests during the week.
- First-year forward Isabella Wesley set multiple career-highs at Stonehill. She grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, posted three steals, assisted on two baskets, and blocked one shot.
- All 13 members of Brown's active roster took the court at Stonehill, with 12 of the 13 posting at least one point.
- The Warriors last hit the court on Friday, when it fell to New Hampshire in a close 61-65 game. Merrimack holds a 2-1 record inside of Lawler Arena.
- Merrimack's three wins came against UMass Boston (97-46, Nov. 4), Northeastern (83-65, Nov. 15), and Dartmouth (59-57, Dec. 2).
- Mia Fiore leads the way for the Warriors, averaging 15.3 points per game. She is shooting 50% from the field, and 33% beyond the arc.
- Madison Roman leads Merrimack in rebounds, with an average of 8.4 per game.
- Last year the Warriors made it to the MAAC Semifinals, ultimately falling to Quinnipiac.
- Merrimack added five new additions in the offseason with four transfers and one first-year.
- Merrimack was selected eighth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Roman was named to the Second Team Preseason All-MAAC Team.
- Elizabeth F. Turner '98 Coaching Chair for Women's Basketball Monique LeBlanc and Assistant Coach Tyler Patch both have ties to Merrimack, previously coaching there.
- LeBlanc's stint with the Warriors began in 2011 and came to an end in 2019. Patch coached alongside LeBlanc from 2018-20.
- The Bears and Warriors have met once before, where Merrimack came out on top with LeBlanc at the helm.
- Merrimack posted a 72-57 win inside of the Pizzitola Sports Center in November of 2019. The Warriors were transitioning to DI during the 2019-20 season.
