PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will host Cornell this Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field. The game will also serve as the team's Senior Day.
A win would be huge for either team's hopes in qualifying for the Ivy League Tournament. Cornell is currently tied for third at 3-2, while Brown is fifth and just on the outside looking in at 2-3. The top four teams qualify for the postseason.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and NESN.

Scouting the Bears (5-7, 2-3 Ivy)
- Brown will be looking to snap a four-game losing skid, as well as keep their hopes alive for the Ivy League Tournament. A win would put the Bears in a tie for fourth, at the worst, and would give them the tiebreaker for the Big Red.
- Harvard is the other team currently tied for third at 3-2. The Crimson takes on Princeton this weekend which, with a Brown win over Cornell, could set up a showdown between the Bears and Harvard next weekend for the final postseason slot.
- With three games remaining in the regular season, Emmie Lau is within striking distance of the program's top single-season draw control marks. The junior has 60 on the year, which is already good for the fourth most in program history, and can move to second place with just nine more. She would need 23 over the three games to unseat Caroline Zaffino '19 from the top spot who had 82 during the 2018 season.
- Cornell's three victories this season have come against Columbia, Harvard, and Penn, with its two losses coming at Princeton and at home against Yale.
- The loss to Princeton, the Big Red's first Ivy League game of the season, was a 13-12 nailbiter that saw the Tigers score four unanswered to claim the single-goal victory.
- On the season, Amanda Cramer and Genevieve DeWinter are tied for the team lead of 28 goals. Katie Castiello leads the team with nine assists.
