
Sliwkowski Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Ruby Sliwkowski of the Brown women's lacrosse team has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the Ivy League announced on Monday afternoon.
Sliwkowski scored the game-winning overtime goal to lift the Bears into the Ivy League Tournament in their 14-13 win over No. 25 Penn on Sunday afternoon. The Kennebunkport, Maine native tallied a career-high five goals to go along with three assists in the win.
This is Sliwkowski's second Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season, the junior picked up her first nod on Apr. 6 after scoring the game-winning goal against Columbia on Apr. 4. Sliwkowski closed the regular season ranked second in the Ivy League in points per game (4.43).
Sliwkowski and the Bears will participate in the Ivy League Tournament beginning on Friday, May 1 against top-seeded Yale at 4 p.m. at Reese Stadium on the campus of Yale.
