
Sliwkowski Named First Team All-Ivy as Six Bears Earn Conference Recognition

PRINCETON, N.J. - Ruby Sliwkowski of the Brown women's lacrosse team was named First Team All-Ivy as six total Bears earned All-Ivy honors, the Ivy League announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Along with Sliwkowski, Riley Peterson was named Second Team All-Ivy, Tessie Batchelder, Codi Johnson, and Cece Korn were named Honorable Mention All-Ivy. Kiki Tormey was also named Academic All-ivy.
Sliwkowski finished the regular season leading the Bears in goals (38), assists (24), and points (62) this season. The Kennebunkport, Maine native ranks second in the Ivy League in points per game (4.43), sixth in goals per game (2.71), and ninth in assists per game (1.71). Sliwkowski was most recently named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after scoring a career-high five goals to go along with three assists in Brown's 14-13 overtime win over Penn (Apr. 26). Sliwkowski's overtime game-winning goal lifted the Bears into the Ivy League Tournament for the second-straight season.
Peterson was named Second Team All-Ivy after scoring a career-high 20 goals to go along with a career-high 23 draw controls. Peterson has started every game across two seasons as a Bear. The sophomore has scored in all but two games this season, and has recorded multi-goal efforts in five games.
Batchelder picked up her first-career All-Ivy honor after scoring 27 goals and recording nine assists. The Weston, Mass. native has scored in 12 consecutive games, highlighted by a career-high five goals in Brown's 14-13 overtime win over Penn on Sunday. Batchelder has recorded multiple goals in four games this season, and has logged at least three points seven times.
Johnson earned her second All-Ivy honor after being named to the Second Team in 2025. The Silver Spring, Md. native matched a career-high with 15 ground balls this season. Johnson was named a Preseason All-American by USA Lacrosse. The junior started in all 14 regular season games while scoring her first collegiate goal in Brown's home-opening win over Holy Cross (Feb. 19).Â
Korn earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy after starting all 14 games for the Bears. The New Vernon, N.J. native set career-highs in ground balls (23) and caused turnovers (12). Korn had multiple caused turnovers in four games this season, highlighted by four against Bryant (Mar. 17).
Tormey was named Academic All-Ivy after scoring a career-high 11 goals to go along with a career-high three assists. Tormey will graduate from Brown in May with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
Brown will begin the Ivy League Tournament on Friday, May 1 when it takes on top-seeded Yale at Reese Stadium in New Haven, Conn. The opening draw control is scheduled for 4 p.m.
