Men's Hockey Travels to #15/16 Harvard for Tuesday Night Meeting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears men's hockey team (1-4-0, 1-4-0 ECAC) travels to #15/16 Harvard Crimson (4-2-1, 3-1-1 ECAC) for a Tuesday night showdown at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
Tuesday's game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.

- Brown enters Tuesday's game with a 1-4-0 overall record and the same mark in ECAC conference play. The Bears opened the season with a 2-0 win over Yale before falling to Princeton, 6-3, sixth-ranked Quinnipiac, 1-0, ninth-ranked Cornell, 3-2 in overtime, and Colgate, 6-0.
- Mathieu Caron recorded 34 saves in the loss to Quinnipiac, his first collegiate start. To this point of the season, Caron holds a 3.17 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
- Junior forward Nathan Plessis leads the team with two goals in three games. He found the back of the net against Yale (Oct. 30) and Princeton (Nov. 5).
- Junior defenseman Samuli Niinisaari and junior forward Cole Quisenberry are tied for the team-lead with two assists.
- Brown's scoring defense ranks eighth in the ECAC and 37th in the country, allowing 3.20 goals per game.
- On special teams, Brown ranks seventh in the conference and 41st in the country with a 15.8% (3-for-19) success rate on the power play. The Bears lead are third in the ECAC and tied for seventh in the country with an 88.8% (24-for-27) success-rate on the penalty kill.
- Harvard enters Tuesday night's contest with a 4-2-1 overall record and 3-1-1 ECAC conference mark.
- The Crimson are the 15th-ranked team per the USA Today/USA Hockey poll and the 16th-ranked team per the USCHO.com poll.
- Sean Farrell and Alex Laferriere are tied for the team lead with five goals apiece. Farrell leads the team with 11 points.
- Henry Thrun leads the Crimson with eight assists through seven games.
- Mitchell Gibson has started five of seven games between the pipes. He holds a 2.74 goals against and .884 save percentage.
- Derek Mullaly has started the other two games for Harvard and holds a 1.71 goals against and a .929 save percentage.
