Thomas Deighton comes to Brown from London, England, after having graduated from The American School in London in 2008. He reached two quarterfinals in his last two British Tour events. Tom says he came to Brown because it provides the kind of atmosphere that will allow him to get the best out of himself, both off and on the court.

If Tom wasn’t playing tennis, he says he would definitely do something involving sports. Tom is also a huge Arsenal fan. He hopes to end up in one of his two favorite cities in the world after graduation from Brown, London or Florence.

Tom is the son of Paul and Alison Deighton. His brother Daniel is currently studying at Harvard University.
