Softball Makes Trip to Dartmouth for Weekend Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball heads to New Hampshire for a three-game series at Dartmouth over the weekend.
The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday (April 18) beginning at 12:30 p.m. The series will finish on Sunday (April 19) at 12:30 p.m. All three games are scheduled to be streamed on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE BEARS
- Brown dropped both midweek contests this past week, falling at UMass and Providence. The Bears had the tying run on first in the seventh against UMass and had the tying run at the plate in the seventh at PC but could not get the needed hits.
- The Bears enter the weekend with a 4-8 record in Ivy League play.
- Cameron Zytkewicz Ray picked up her 100th-career hit at UMass. The senior leads the Bears in both hits (26) and batting average (.299).
- Maggie Foxx is tops on the squad with four hits and 17 RBI after driving in two runs at Providence.
- Macy Borowski leads Brown with a 3.63 ERA, eight wins and 105 strikeouts in 112.0 innings pitched.
- Dartmouth is tied with Brown at 4-8 on the season and is 7-18 overall. The Big Green went 1-2 against Cornell last weekend, winning the final game of the series 15-14.
- Serna Faby leads Dartmouth with a .410 average, 32 hits, 20 runs scored, three home runs and 21 RBI.
- Dartmouth's pitching staff holds an 8.10 ERA with Charley Maddox leading the staff with a 6.96 ERA. The Big Green have just 62 strikeouts as a staff in 153.0 innings pitched.
- Brown is 31-64 all-time against Dartmouth. The Bears dropped all three meetings at home to begin Ivy League play last season. Brown has won just one game in its last 15 games in Hanover.
