Softball Welcomes Harvard for Weekend Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball returns home for a weekend Ivy League series against Harvard on Saturday (April 11) and Sunday (April 12).
Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12:30 and the Bears will be celebrating Alumnae Day. On Sunday, the single game will begin at 12 p.m. and will be Youth Day. Fans can stick around after the game on Sunday for an autograph session and meet the team.
All three games of the series will be streamed on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE BEARS
- Brown comes into the weekend with a 3-6 Ivy League record, having dropped their last four league contests. The Bears are 10-17 overall.
- Macy Browoski leads Brown in the circle and at the plate. Borowski holds a team-best 3.48 ERA and leads the pitching staff in wins (7), complete games (11), innings pitched (98.2) and strikeouts (91).
- At the plate, Borowski leads Brown with a .315 batting average and .377 on base percentage.
- Cameron Zytkewicz Ray has a team-best 23 hits and two triples this season. The senior is sitting on 98 career hits.
- Maggie Foxx has a team-high four home runs and has driven in 14 batters, the second-most on the team behind Elli Thompson (15).
- Harvard is 14-14-1 on the year and 6-3 in Ivy League play. Harvard swept Cornell last weekend and is on a four-game win streak with a win over Dartmouth to close out the series two weekends ago.
- Sophie Sun has done it all for the Crimson this season, leading the team in batting average (.387), doubles (7), home runs (7) and RBI (34).
- Audrey Szollosi is second on the team with a .381 average and has a team-high 40 this and 27 runs scored.
- In the circle, Nicolette Hunter leads Harvard with a 2.33 ERA in 81.0 innings with 67 strikeouts. Hunter is 7-6 on the season.
- Brown is 45-73 all-time against Harvard. The Bears took two-of-three games last season at Harvard, winning game one 8-2 and game two 11-6. The last series in Providence (March 30-31, 2024) was won by Harvard with the Crimson winning two games.
