Women’s Lacrosse Resumes Ivy League Play at No. 5 Yale on Sunday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (4-3, 1-0) will resume Ivy League play at No. 5 Yale (7-1, 1-0) on Sunday, Mar. 22, the opening draw control is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Reese Stadium.
Scouting Brown
The Bears enter Sunday seeking its fourth consecutive win. In its last outing, Brown earned a 12-6 win over Bryant (Mar. 17). Over the last three games, the Bears' defense is allowing just 6.6 goals per game and have held their last three opponents to under 10 goals.
Offensively, Ruby Sliwkowski is leading the way with 18 goals and 13 assists, Tessie Batchelder has 12 goals and Caroline Nozzolillo has 10. Most recently, Sliwkowski had four goals and two assists against Bryant.
Mackenzie Conway was named the No. 14 Impact Freshman by Inside Lacrosse, Conway leads the Ivy League in ground balls per game (3.29) and ranks third in the Ivy League in saves per game (8.14) and save percentage (.475).
Scouting Yale
The Bulldogs have allowed the least amount of goals among Ivy League teams this season (45), Niamh Pfaff leads the Ivy League in goals against average (5.8) and save percentage (.523).
Emily Pascal leads the Ivy League in caused turnovers per game (2.25) and Kate Gould ranks second in draw controls per game (5.75).
History
Brown is 9-40 all-time against Yale. Last season, the Bears earned a 14-11 win over the then-No. 7 Bulldogs.

Brown will continue Ivy League play on Saturday, Mar. 28 when it travels to Harvard, the opening draw control is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Jordan Field.
