Wrestling Drops Ivy League Dual to Penn, 35-6

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown wrestling (3-6, 0-2 Ivy) fell to Penn (5-1, 1-1Â Ivy) 35-6 on Saturday afternoon in the Pizzitola Sports Center.
The two nationally ranked wrestlers for the Bears, No. 19 Andrew Reall (197) and No. 25 Alex Semenenko (285), each won their respective matches and improved to 8-1 in dual competition. Reall scored a 4-0 decision against Martin Cosgrove, while Semenenko defeated John Pardo via decision as well, 11-7.
Max Norman (165) had a hard fought match against No. 18 Sean Seefeldt, which saw the standout freshman fall short via decision, 8-6. Senior Drew Clearie (174) had a near victory against Caden Bellis, ultimately dropping the match via decision 7-6, after leading for most of the early portion of the contest.
The Bears are back home at the Pizzitola Sports Center tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Rumble and Tumble, where wrestling will face the Princeton Tigers on one side of the gym, while gymnastics will square off against Southern Connecticut State on the other side.Â
