Wrestling Lands Nine NWCA Scholar All-Americans, Earning Second Best Team GPA in NCAA

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released its list of Scholar All-Americans this week, with nine members of the Brown wrestling program earning the prestigious postseason honor.Â
Dominic Frontino (157), Khimari Manns (141), Austin McBurney (149), Ethan Mojena (157), Max Norman (165), Connor O'Donnell (184), Andrew Reall (197), Alex Semenenko (285), and Douglas Shipers (133) were all named Scholar All-Americans for their work in the classroom and on the mat.
Reall and O'Donnell were both named NWCA Scholar All-Americans last season. Brown's nine honorees represents the program's highest number of single-season Scholar All-Americans this decade. The full release can be found HERE.Â
The Bears were also recognized as the program with the second best team GPA in the country (3.6825), ranking only behind Arizona State (3.689827). The full team rankings release can be found HERE.
