CLEVELAND - No. 18 Andrew Reall (197) tied the Brown Wrestling single season wins mark after collecting two wins on day two of the 2026 NCAA Men's Wrestling Championship at Rocket Arena. Reall tied Steve Thoma (1991-92) atop the Bears record book, concluding his sophomore campaign with 37 wins.Â
"I'm so proud of our guys this weekend," Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling Jordan Leen said. "Semenenko finished his career as a national qualifier and in contention for most pins each of the last two years. McBurney put himself into contention to be an All-American active immediately."
"Reall etched his name into the history books with the greatest regular season in program history and becoming the program's winningest wrestler, falling one takedown shy of becoming an All-American," Leen added. "As successful as he has been, his story is just getting started. I'm excited to see where our program goes from here."Â
No. 18 Reall (197) started his afternoon with a 4-2 decision over No. 17 Dillon Bechtold (Bucknell). It marked his second win over Bechtold, with the first coming via an 11-2 major decision at the Davidson Duals.
In his second match of the day, Brown's standout sophomore pulled out a win against No. 25 Evan Bates (Missouri), prevailing via decision, 5-4. In the evening portion of today's competition, Reall faced No. 11 Camden McDanel (Nebraska), losing via decision, 4-2.Â
No. 33 Austin McBurney (149) wrestled in one match today, dropping the bout against No. 15 Ryder Block (Iowa) via decision, 8-1.
