No. 4 Men's Crew Set to Race No. 7 Princeton in New Jersey

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - As the end of the season rapidly approaches, Brown men's crew is preparing for the final Ivy League race of the 2025 spring season as they head to Lake Carnegie in New Jersey to take on the Princeton Tigers.Â
Brown and Princeton have been racing for the Content Cup since 1994, with the Tigers holding a 15-14 all-time lead in the series. The last Content Cup victory for the Bears came in the 2022 spring season.
This matchup showcases two of the top programs in the country, with Brown coming into Saturday ranked fourth in the nation and Princeton close behind at seventh overall. The Bears have competed well against other Ivy League programs this season, winning the Albert Cup against Yale and the Stein Cup against Harvard while the three teams raced in Sarasota earlier this year.Â
The Bears are coming off of a very strong performance against Northeastern on Apr. 19, which saw the V8, 2V8, and 3V8 boats all win their respective races. Brown's V8 has totaled four first place finishes this season and hasn't finished below second place in any race on their spring schedule. One of the most impressive aspects of the V8's success this season is the fact that only two seniors, Oliver Page-Kuhr and Enno Mönch, are in the top boat's starting lineup.Â
