Women's Hockey's Justin Simpson Named Head Coach at Norwich University

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's hockey head coach Melanie Ruzzi has announced that associate head coach Justin Simpson has stepped down from the program to become the new head coach at Norwich University.
"I am grateful to Justin for coming with me to Brown and helping me to build the program back to being competitive both in the ECAC and Nationally," said Ruzzi. "He is a diligent recruiter, passionate about the game and a tremendous person. I wish him the very best at Norwich University and look forward to following his progress and celebrating his success."
Simpson has been with the program since 2021 and has helped the Bears improve every season, including to helping guide the Bears to their first winning record since 2005-06 this past season. Simpson helped lead the Bears to home games in the Opening Round of the ECAC Playoffs in each of the last two seasons.
