Men's Hockey Heads to #13 Quinnipiac for ECAC Quarterfinal Series

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (14-13-3, 9-11-2) head to the top-seeded and 13th-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats (22-10-2, 16-5-1 ECAC) for the ECAC Quarterfinal Series in Hamden, Connecticut.
The series kicks off at 7 p.m. on Friday with game two set for 4 p.m. on Saturday. If necessary, game three is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday. All three games will stream on ESPN+ in the United States and on Stretch Internet internationally.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters the quarterfinal weekend with a 14-13-3 overall record and 9-11-2 conference mark. The Bears are coming off a 3-2 home win over Princeton in the ECAC Opening Round.
- Brown averages 2.6 goals per game to rank eighth in the conference and 40th in the NCAA.
- Ryan St. Louis leads the Bears with 28 points and ranks second in goals (11) and assists (17). Tyler Kopff leads the team with 19 assists and ranks second on the team with 27 points.
- Max Scott leads the squad with 12 goals and is tied for third on the team with 25 points alongside Brian Nicholas.
- Brown's power play has 14 goals in 81 attempts (17.3%) to rank eighth in the ECAC. Nicholas leads the Bears with 10 power play points with St. Louis and Kopff just behind with nine points apiece.
- Defensively, Brown allows 2.6 goals per game to rank fifth in the ECAC and 22nd nationally.
- Between the pipes, Lawton Zacher holds a 2.44 goals against average and .920 save percentage in 26 starts.
- The penalty kill clicks at 78% (78-100) to rank eighth in the conference.
- Brown's 50.6% faceoff percentage ranks sixth in the ECAC and tied for 29th nationally.
- Quinnipiac enters the weekend with a 22-10-2 overall record and 16-5-1 ECAC mark. The Bobcats are the top seed in the ECAC Playoffs and rank 13th in the nation per the USCHO.com Poll.
- The Bobcats lead the conference and rank fifth in the nation with 3.6 goals per game.
- Jack Ricketts leads the team with 20 goals and Travis Treloar ranks second on the team with 16 goals. Jeremy Wilmer leads the team with 38 points and 25 assists.
- Quinnipiac's power play leads the nation at 30.6% (38-124). Travis Treloar leads the team with nine power play goals.
- Defensively, the Bobcats allow 2.2 goals per game to lead the conference and rank ninth nationally.
- Between the pipes, Matej Marinov has a 1.90 goals against average and .922 save percentage in 12 starts. Dylan Silverstein holds a 2.22 goals against average and .905 save percentage in 22 starts.
- Quinnipiac's penalty kill ranks first in the ECAC and third in the NCAA at 89.5% (85-95).
- The Bobcats lead the NCAA with a 55.5% faceoff percentage.
- Brown and Quinnipiac meet for the 51st time in series history on Friday in game one.
- The teams will square off for the 52nd time on Saturday and, if necessary, the 53rd time on Sunday.

- Zacher is the first goalie to earn Second Team or better honors since Yann Danis.
- Danis was named to the First Team in 2004 and the Second Team in 2002 and 2003.
- Five Bears earned All-Ivy honors following Brown's 10-game Ivy slate.
- Tyler Kopff and Lawton Zacher earned First Team All-Ivy honors. Alex Pineau picked up Second Team recognition with Max Scott and Ryan St. Louis earning Honorable Mention honors.
- Kopff and Zacher are Brown's first First Team selections since Nick Lappin in 2016.
- The five selections are the most in the conference and Brown is tied with Cornell with a pair of First Team selections.
- The five selections match the second-most in program history, joining the 2003-04 and 1976-77 teams and trailing just the 1964-65 team (6).

- Sophomore defenseman Alex Pineau leads the NCAA with 27:35 average time on ice per game.
- Captain Max Scott leads all forwards in the NCAA and ranks 31st among all skaters with 23:40 time on ice per game.
- Sophomore Tyler Kopff ranks second in the NCAA among forwards and 33rd overall with 23:28 time on ice per game.
- Zacher's 14 wins in 2024-25 match the fourth-most by an individual goalie dating back to the start of the 1969-70 season.
- Yann Danis posted consecutive 15-win seasons in 2002-03 and 2003-04 to rank second.
- Kevin McCabe holds the single-season record with 21 wins in the 1975-76 season.
