
Men's Tennis Dominates Quinnipiac Friday Night

Providence RI. - The Brown men's tennis team showcased their depth on Friday, sweeping Quinnipiac 7-0 in an impressive all around team performance.    Â
In doubles play, the Bears took control early. Alex Finkelstein and Zander Bravo set the tone with a 6-1 victory at the top spot, while Noah Hernandez and Toby Luo sealed the point with a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles. Lukas Phimvongsa and Oliver Worth also contributed with a strong showing before their match was cut short.
Singles competition saw the Bears carry their momentum forward, winning all six matches. Alex Finkelstein led the charge at No. 1 singles, bouncing back from a tough first set to win 0-6, 6-0, 6-3. Oliver Worth added a gritty three-set victory at the second spot, while Noah Hernandez, Lukas Phimvongsa, James Lian, and Zander Bravo all claimed straight-set wins to complete the sweep.
The Bears will look to continue their strong start when they host Temple this Sunday, February 9th.
