
Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 47 Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's tennis team (15-11, 0-4 Ivy) fell to No. 47 Harvard (12-10, 2-1 Ivy), 4-0, on Friday afternoon.
In doubles, Ivan Sodan and Elliot Wasserman were topped by Rohan Murali and Kolos Kincses, 6-3 at the first line. Zander Bravo and Noah Hernandez topped Benjamin Privara and Nathan Blokhin, 6-2, at the second line. Lukas Phimvongsa and Cole Oberg were defeated by Masato Perera and James MacDonald with a 7-5 result at the third line, with the Crimson claiming the doubles point.
In singles, Sodan fell against No. 60 Rohan Murali, at the first line, 7-5, 6-3. Phimvongsa was in a three-set match against Benjamin Privara, 2-6, 1-6, 1-4, before it was called unfinished. Hernandez was topped by Nathan Blokhin, 6-2, 6-2, at second singles. Robert Yang was up against Melchior Delloye (6-3, 6-6) when their match did not finish. At the fifth line, Wasserman was in battle with Masato Perera, but it remained unfinished at 6-3, 6-6. Zander Bravo was topped by Mitchell Lee, 4-6, 4-6 at the sixth line.
Brown will continue Ivy League play when it travels to Dartmouth on Sunday, Apr. 12, at 1 p.m.
