
Men’s Tennis Captures 5-2 Win Over Temple

Providence, RI – The Brown men's tennis team delivered a commanding performance on Sunday, defeating Temple 5-2 in a rematch of last season's close 4-3 defeat.
The Bears came out firing from the start, securing the doubles point behind a 6-3 victory from Lukas Phimvongsa and Oliver Worth. The doubles pairing of Noah Hernandez & Toby Luo also earned a 6-3 win.
In singles play, the Bears continued to impose their will as Hernandez, Phimvongsa, and James Lian each delivered decisive straight set wins, continuing the recent dominance of the Bears' 3, 4, and 5 spots. At No. 1, Alex Finkelstein added another three-set come from behind victory to his name.
With the win, the Bears improved to 8-2 and will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for the ECAC Championships beginning on Feb. 14.
