Men’s Water Polo Set to Host No. 14 Princeton, LIU and Iona This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's water polo team (16-7, 3-4 NWPC) will welcome No. 14 Princeton (18-9, 6-2 NWPC) on Saturday Nov. 8. On Sunday Nov. 9 the team will also host LIU (4-22, 0-7 NWPC) and Iona (8-13, 4-3 NWPC) at the Katherine Moral Coleman Aquatics Center.
Brown's contest against LIU will serve as the team's Senior Day.
The Bears will start the weekend off by facing the Tigers at 5 p.m. for day one. To start day two, the team will face the Sharks at 12 p.m., then finish off the weekend with the Gaels at 3 p.m. All games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Brown closed out last weekend's competition with a 1-1 record, picking up their win against MIT 14-10, on Saturday, but fell to No. 18 Harvard later that day.
Ilias Stothart still leads the Bears with 69 goals this season. Dominik Balla has the second most goals with 43 and Jaxson Tierney is right behind with 41. In goal, Dimitrios Kratimenos has made 139 saves this season.
The Bears will play Fordham in N.Y. for the last game of the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15, before going into the NWPC Championship.
