Men's Water Polo Falls to No. 14 Princeton, 18-15

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – No. 19 Brown men's water polo (16-8, 3-5 NWPC) fell to No. 14 Princeton (19-9, 7-1 NWPC), 18-15 on Saturday (Nov. 8) at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
Jaxson Tierney led Brown with four goals, while Filip Josipovic, Griffin Tunney and Daniel Hadar all collected two goals.
Princeton scored the first three goals of the game but the Bears battled back to make it 7-6 later in the second quarter. The Tigers scored two more goals to take a 9-6 lead into halftime.
Brown responded in the third quarter, outscoring Princeton 6-3 and scoring twice with less than 15 seconds on the clock as Hadar and Tunney scored to tie the game at 12 heading to the fourth.
The Bears allowed the first four goals of the final quarter and were only able to get as close as two the rest of the way.
UP NEXT
Brown will host LIU and Iona on Sunday (Nov. 9) with the game against the Sharks beginning at 10 a.m. and the game against the Gaels starting at 3 p.m. Brown's senior day will take place before the LIU game.
