Men's Water Polo Takes Third In NWPC Tournament

PROVIDENCE, RI - No. 3 seed Brown mens water polo defeated MIT (13-11) on Sunday, Nov. 23, on the last day of the NWPC Tournament to finish third in the tournament.

The Bears and Engineers keep the score even for the first half of the game, with a tied score at six. Jaxson Tierney scored three of those goals off penalty shots. Tierney added three more goals in the second half, leading the Bears with six goals for the game. Ilias Stothart added three more goals, giving Brown the lead in the fourth quarter. Filip Josipovic, Griffin Tunney, and Dominik Balla all added one goal each, helping the Bears keep the lead.

Tunney and Hugo Molnar each had two assists during the game.

Kole Newman had 11 saves for the Bears.
