Men's Water Polo Has 19 Named to ACWPC All-Academic Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo had 19 student-athletes named to the 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic Team, the ACWPC announced on Wednesday (Feb. 11).
Brown finished with the highest GPA in among Division I schools and the second-highest GPA in all of collegiate water polo. The Bears had 11players earn Outstanding honors (4.0-3.71 GPA), eight individuals earn Superior honors (3.70-3.41 GPA) and two players earn Excellent honors (3.40-3.20 GPA).
The 11 Bears to earn "Outstanding" honors are Brody Paine, Daniel Hadar, Dimitrios Kratimenos, Griffin Tunney, Hugo Molnar, Jeremy Tachiki, Kole Newman, Ramzi Megalli, Ryan Miele, Theo Pliner, William Griswold.
Brown's seven "Superior" honorees are Dominik Balla, Jackson Meleney, Jaxson Tierney, Mac Berry, Mate Tymcyna, Roberto Serrano, William Vranesh.
Filip Josepovic earned "Excellent" honors.
