Men's Water Polo Beats MIT, Falls to No. 18 Harvard in NWPC Play

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - No. 20 Men's Water Polo split Saturday's (Nov. 1) matches by picking up at win in the first half of the day against MIT, but falling to No. 18 Harvard to close out the day.Â
MIT 14-10
The Bears started strong with a 7-4 lead against the Engineers in the first half of the match. Mac Berry scored three goals during the game. Ramzi Megalli, Daniel Hadar, Jaxson Tierney, and Hugo Molnar all scoring two goals to keep the team ahead in the second half.
Kole Newman was a powerhouse in the net with ten saves during the game.
Harvard 10-13
To close out the day, the Bears dropped a close one with Harvard. Daniel Hadar led all scorers with three goals for the Bears. Both Jaxson Tierney and Dominik Balla each scored twice.Â
In a back and forth game, the Bears tied the score at 10 with just over five minutes left but Harvard would score the final three goals of the game for the victory.
