
McDadi Nets Goal in Loss at No. 3 Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS – Brown women's hockey dropped its first game of 2025 to No. 3 Minnesota by a score of 9-1 on Friday night. India McDadi scored her fourth goal of the season for the Bears.
Brown fell into an early hole as Minnesota jumped ahead 3-0 eight minutes into the game. The Gophers led 4-0 after the first 20 minutes.
Minnesota notched the first goal of the second period but Brown got on the board next. Minnesota turned the puck over in its own end and Olivia Fantino found McDadi in front of the net, who beat Hannah Clark. Victoria Damiani also picked up an assist on the play.
Rory Edwards finished the night with 39 saves in net. Overall, Brown was outshot 48-16 by the Gophers.
UP NEXT
Brown will finish up play in the Twin Cities with a contest against Bemidji State on Saturday (Jan. 4). Puck drop against the Beavers is set for 2 p.m. ET/1p.m. CT.
