Women's Basketball Hosts Dartmouth on Saturday in Ivy Home Opener

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown women's basketball team will host the Dartmouth Big Green in their Ivy opener on Saturday at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (6-7, 0-0 Ivy)
- Brown wrapped up non-conference play on Sunday, Dec. 9 against Texas Christian University. The Horned Frogs posted a 79-47 win over the Bears.
- The Bears currently lead the Ivy League in three-pointers made. The team has hit 107 triples over 13 games, averaging 8.2 threes per game.
- Junior guard, Grace Arnolie currently ranks seventh in scoring in the conference. Arnolie averages 14.7 points per game, and has posted double figures in 10 games this season.
- Senior guard Isabella Mauricio led the Bears in scoring with 17 points against the Horned Frogs. Mauricio netted three triples, moving her into fourth place in career threes.
- Dartmouth closed out their non-conference play against Colby-Sawyer College. The Big Green posted a 94-46 win over the Chargers.
- Victoria Page led Dartmouth in scoring with 19 points against Colby-Sawyer. Page ranks fifth in the Ivy League in scoring with 15.8 points per game.
- The Big Green rank second in the Ivy League in defense. Dartmouth's defense has allowed 58.7 points per game, behind Harvard's 53.3.
- Brown has posted 33 wins against Dartmouth, dating back to the 1977-78 season.
- The Bears are currently on a five game win streak against the Big Green, and look to extend their streak.
