Women’s Soccer Travels to Minnesota on Sunday Afternoon

ST. PAUL, M.N. - The Brown women's soccer team will travel to Minnesota on Sunday, Sept. 8, kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on Big Ten Plus.

Scouting The Bears (1-1-2)
- The Bears picked up their first win of the season, 2-0 over Central Connecticut State (Sept. 5). Freshmen Kyra Treanor and Ella Weil scored their first-career goals in the win.
- Bella Schopp recorded her first shutout of the season and the ninth of her career.
- Minnesota is the second Big Ten team the Bears will take on this season, Brown earned a 1-1 draw against Indiana (Sept. 1) at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
- Minnesota welcomes Brown with a 5-0 overall record. In their last contest, the Golden Gophers picked up a 3-0 victory over Army (Sept. 5).
- Khyah Harper leads the Golden Gophers with eight goals in five games, she ranks first in the country with 1.60 goals per game and second in the country with 3.80 points per game. Harper also has three assists so far this season.
- As a team, Minnesota ranks 24th in the nation in scoring offense with 2.80 goals per game.
- The Bears are 0-1-1 all-time against Minnesota, the two sides played two a 2-2 draw in 2006 and Minnesota earned a 2-0 victory in 2008.
- The Bears are 2-3-3 all-time against Big Ten opponents and 1-1-1 under head coach Kia McNeill.
- Brown's lone Big Ten win under McNeill came in the 2022 NCAA Tournament against Rutgers.
