9/19/2024 8:51:00 PM | Women's Soccer
The six goals by Brown was the most since they earned a 6-0 win over Albany in the 2023 season opener.
Today was a great team win," head coach Kia McNeill said. "We talked a lot about putting together 90 minutes of Brown women's soccer in terms of our work ethic, pressure, and commitment to finish in the final third. I think tonight was a good representation of what we can do when we play as a team on both ends of the ball and it was certainly a great way to end our non-conference schedule as we head into Ivy League play next week."
It took the Bears eight minutes to find the back of the net as Karlie Schlosser scored an Olimpico goal right off a corner kick, the goal was the first of the season for Schlosser. Following the goal from Schlosser, the Bears had two shots miss the net before Kira Maguire found the back of the net for the second time this season, giving the Bears a 2-0 advantage.
