Women’s Basketball Set for Road Clashes at Penn and Princeton

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's basketball team will hit the road for its first back-to-back Ivy League weekend games of the season at Penn on Friday and Princeton on Saturday. Tipoff on Friday evening is set for 6 p.m. at The Palestra and 5 p.m. on Saturday at Princeton's Jadwin Gymnasium.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- For the first time this season, Brown is receiving one vote in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll.
- The Bears' 4-1 start to league play is the team's best since the 2005-06 season, when they started 11-1 en route to an Ivy League title.
- Brown allowed 39 and 31 points to Dartmouth this season. It marks the first time the Bears have had multiple games of allowing fewer than 40 points since the 1979-80 season (3x).
- Brown's scoring defense ranks second in the league by allowing just 56.2 points per game.
- The Bears are holding opponents to 37.1 percent from the floor, the lowest in the Ivy League.
- Senior guard Kyla Jones ranks second in the league with 16.3 points per game.
- Jones, sophomore Grace Arnolie and sophomore Alyssa Moreland are tied for second in the league with 2.0 steals per game.
- Isabella Mauricio ranks second in the Ivy League in three-point field goal percentage and three-pointers per game.
