Women’s Basketball Set to Take on No. 11/12 TCU on Sunday

FORT WORTH, Texas- The Brown women's basketball team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to face No. 11/12 Texas Christian University on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (6-6)
- The Bears played their last game ahead of the holiday break on Saturday, Dec. 21 against the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. The Bears picked up their sixth win of the season, defeating the Wildcats 70-43.
- Junior guard Grace Arnolie led the Bears in scoring with 21 points. She also notched six assists, and three rebounds. Arnolie currently ranks fourth in the league in assists with 4.0 per game.
- First-year guard Gia Powell followed Arnolie with 20 points and three rebounds. Powell is currently ranked second in the Ivy League in three-pointers per game with 2.3.
- The Bears lead the Ivy League in three-pointers made with an average of 8.3 per game.
- The Horned Frogs posted a 92-52 win over at University of Central Florida on Saturday, Dec. 21. TCU will have a three-game home stand starting with Brown on Sunday.
- In their win over UCF, Madison Conner led the team in scoring with 24 points.Conner posted five rebounds and assists.
- Hailey Van Lith leads the Horned Frogs in scoring with a total of 248 points scored so far this season. She averages 19.1 points per game.
- Sedona Prince leads the Big 12 in blocked shots with an average of 3.8 per game. TCU ranks second in the Big 12 behind Kansas State.
- Brown and TCU have only met once before, during the 2000-01 season.
- The Horned Frogs earned a 80-42 win over the Bears.
