Four Bears closed out Saturday night in double-figures: Grace Arnolie (16), Beth Nelson (13), Ada Anamekwe (10), and Olivia Young (10).
Arnolie led the Bears with 16 points for the night. She posted four rebounds, two steals and a block.
Young shot 67% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc, landing four field goals and two three-pointers.
A tough start for the Bears, as the Crimson opened up the contest with an 8-0 run following a Grace Arnolie three-pointer. Arnolie put an end to Harvard's run with a basket, before the Crimson closed out the quarter the same way they opened it, with an 8-0 run. Arnolie netted the last basket of the opening 10 minutes, cutting Brown's deficit to 10 points.
The Bears came out firing in the second quarter, ultimately outscoring Harvard 23-19. Scoring bounced back and forth for most of the quarter, but the Bears were able to build up some momentum with a 6-0 run in the bottom half of the quarter. Arnolie hit a buzzer-beater heading into halftime, leaving Brown six points away from Harvard.
Brown's best-ranked defense in the Ivy shined in the third quarter, keeping the Crimson to just four points. The Bears were able to capitalize on the opportunity, with a layup from Alyssa Moreland to take the lead from the Crimson. Brown scored seven more points to end the quarter pulling away from Harvard 47-41.
The fourth quarter remained tight, with both teams exchanging baskets. It came down the wire with Brown knotting the score at 55 from an Arnolie free-throw with about a minute left in regulation. With 15 seconds left on the clock, Harvard's Saniyah Glenn-Bello hit a three-pointer tying the score at 58. As the clock winded down, Glenn-Bello repeated with a three-pointer to call the game.
