
Women’s Basketball Set for Back-to-Back at Dartmouth and Harvard This Weekend

Scouting the Bears (11-6, 3-2 Ivy)
- The Bears hosted No. 20 Princeton last Saturday afternoon, falling 49-58 in a tight contest with the Tigers.
- Senior guard Grace Arnolie led the way for the Bears scoring 14 points in Saturday's contest. She added three rebounds, an assist, and two steals to her stat line against the Tigers.
- Arnolie is the second-highest scorer in the Ivy League, averaging 18.3 points per game. She also ranks first in three-point percentage (.368) and three-point field goals per game, with an average of 2.5 per game.
- Senior forward Alyssa Moreland posted her ninth double-double of the season against Princeton. She put up 10 points and rebounds, earning her 13th career double-double. Moreland also assisted on five baskets, and posted five steals.
- Moreland continues to lead the conference in rebounds per game (10.6/g) and field goal percentage (.535). She holds second in steals averaging 2.6 per game.
- Brown's 5-0 start at the Pizzitola Sports Center this season marked the program's best home start since the Bears opened 7-0 during the 2015-16 season.
- Brown's 3-0 start in Ivy play was the program's best since the Bears started 3-0 in the 2004-05 season.
- In their last time out, the Big Green suffered a 32-89 loss to the Columbia Lions.
- Zeynep Ozel led the Big Green in scoring against the Lions, netting 14 points. Ozel was the only Dartmouth player to score in double-figures against Columbia.
- Cate MacDonald leads Dartmouth in scoring, with an average of 10.3 points per game. MacDonald ranks fourth in the Ivy League in rebounding, with an average of 7.0 per game.
- Dartmouth has the third-best defense in the Ivy League, allowing 58.1 points per game. They rank just below Brown, who boasts the second-best defense in the conference.
- The Big Green have the third-most three-pointers in the conference, averaging 6.8 threes per game.
- Dartmouth added four newcomers in the offseason, and return 11 players from the previous year.
- The Big Green were selected to finish sixth in the Ivy League Preseason Poll with 46 points.
- In the Crimson's last time on the floor, they rolled past Cornell 84-38.
- Harvard had three players score double-figures in Mary Hollensteiner (22 pts.), Olivia Jones (17 pts.), and Karlee White (10 pts.).
- Abigail Wright leads the Crimson in scoring with an average of 14.4 points per game. Karlee White and Saniyah Glenn-Bello follow with 12.8 and 11.1 points per game, respectively.
- Wright also ranks within the top-10 in multiple statistical categories in the Ivy League. She is fifth in the conference in scoring (14.4), sixth in rebounding (6.8), and sixth in free throw percentage (.700).
- The Crimson boast the third-best offense in the Ivy League, averaging 65.7 points per game. They also have the second-best team three-point field goal percentage at .320.
- Harvard added five newcomers to its squad in the offseason, and return 11 players from the previous year.
- Harvard was selected to finish third in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, receiving one first place vote.
- Brown has a 36-61 record against Dartmouth, dating back to 1977.
- The Bears have a 7-3 record against the Big Green in their last 10 matchups.
- Brown has a 38-64 record against Harvard.
- The Bears last beat the Crimson 83-80 in 2015.
