Women's Basketball Welcomes University of New Hampshire on Saturday Afternoon

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown women's basketball team is set to host the University of New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (5-6)
- Brown played their last game on Dec. 10 when they hosted the Bryant Bulldogs. In a tight contest, the Bears pulled out a 53-50 win over the Bulldogs.
- First-year guard Gia Powell posted a career-high 21 points against Bryant, leading the team in scoring. Powell's performance earned her Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
- Three Bears rounded out the contest in double digits: Senior guard Gianna Aiello, junior guard Grace Arnolie, and Powell.
- Brown currently leads the Ivy League in three-pointers made with a total of 89 so far this season. The Bears average 8.1 per game.
- New Hampshire suffered a 39-94 loss to Pittsburgh on Thursday. Thursday's loss marks the Wildcats' second loss in a row.
- Eva DeChent led the team in scoring on Thursday with 20 points. DeChent also leads the Wildcats and America East in scoring with a total of 215 points this season, averaging 19.5 per game.
- The Wildcats lead the America East in free throw percentage, making 119 free throws out of 154 for a .773 percentage.
- New Hampshire has posted five wins this season over Worcester State, UMass Amherst, Northeastern, Boston University, and Dartmouth.
- Brown has an 11-13 record against New Hampshire dating back to the 1985-86 season.
- The Bears are on a current three game win streak against the Wildcats spanning from the 2018-19 season to present day.
