Women's Crew Wraps Up Competition at Head of the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Brown women's crew team wrapped up competition at the Head of the Charles on Sunday.
The day began with the Women's Championship Fours. Brown's 'A' boat took fourth place out of 18 boats in the event. The 'A' clocked in with a final time of 18:02.827. Columbia's 'A' boat took first place, followed by Penn AC 'A,' and Virginia 'A.' The Bears' 'B' boat finished in 12th place with a time of 18:42.593.
The Women's Championship Eights closed out the day, with two Brown boats competing in the race. Brown's 'A' boat finished in eighth place out of 30 boats with a time of 15:51.739. The second Brown boat followed closely behind, taking 11th place with a final time of 15:58.527.Â
The Bears will be back in action on November 9 when they compete at the Foot of the Charles Regatta.
