Eight of the Bears' nine starters picked up hits in the game, with freshman Mika Petersen leading the way with four hits and four RBIs, coming a home run shy of the cycle to push his hitting streak to 18 games and his on-base streak to 20 games.
Playing in the final home series of their careers, the seniors stood out offensively. Ryan Marra clubbed a pair of home runs and finished with three hits, a walk, three runs scored and two RBIs. Jacob Burley also homered for the third time this season, finishing with two RBIs. Derian Mophew reached base three times and scored three runs.
Freshman Mark Henshon added two hits and scored twice.
On the mound, junior Paxton Meyers picked up the win, allowing just one run on three hits over 6.0 innings with eight strikeouts. Freshman Stiles Begnaud added a scoreless inning of relief.
Brown batted around in the second inning, sending nine men to the plate and pounding out five hits, four of which drove in runs. Burley led off the frame by launching his third home run of the year down the left field line. Marra followed with a double and came home on a single to left field by Nathan Brasher. Three batters later, Henshon drove in Brasher with a single off the first base bag, and Petersen later knocked in two more with a single to center field to push it to 5-0 through two innings.

The Bears tacked on another in the fourth when Morphew hustled out a double to start the inning, and later came home on a sac fly by Burley.
The Bears pushed across three more to reach double digits in the fifth on back-to-back triples. Petersen knocked in two with his first career three-bagger down the right field line, and DJ Dillehay followed with a triple of his own off the left field wall to make it 10-0.
Is there anyone 🔥HOTTER🔥 than Mika Petersen right now??

After Meyers retired eight out of nine batters through one stretch, Dartmouth put the first three runners aboard in the sixth via two hits and a walk to strike for a run to get on the board. Dartmouth added single runs off the Brown bullpen in the seventh and eighth innings.
Marra capped his strong day at the plate with another opposite field shot in the eighth inning to push the lead to 11-3, giving him a team-leading six homers on the year.
