Women's Basketball Back on Road With Game at New Hampshire

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball will make the drive up to New Hampshire to take on the Wildcats on Saturday at Noon. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

SCOUTING BROWN
- Brown picked up its fifth-straight win with a 20-point win over UMass Lowell on Tuesday. Brown had four players reach double-figures in the win over the River Hawks.
- The Bears have won two-straight games against America East opponents having beaten Bryant and UMass Lowell. Under Monique LeBlanc, Brown is 4-1 against America East teams in the past three seasons.
- Brown's current five-game winning streak is tied for the longest with LeBlanc at the helm. Brown won five-straight games from Nov. 13-28 last season. Brown has not won six-straight games since winning 10-straight in 2017.
- Brown earned back-to-back 20+-point wins in victories over Johnson & Wales (55) and UMass Lowell (20). It is the first time since the first two games of the 2017-18 season that Brown has won back-to-back games by at least 20 points.
- After taking on New Hampshire, Brown will have 21 days between games. The Bears will next play on Dec. 30 at San Diego as part of a two-game West Coast trip over New Year's.
- Brown will become road warriors beginning on Saturday. The Bears will play five-straight road games and six of their next seven games away from home. The only home game during that stretch will be against Harvard on Jan. 15. In total, Brown will play nine of their next 11 games away from home.
- Kyla Jones continues to lead the Bears on offense with 17 points per game and Grace Arnolie is second on the team with 11.7 per contest.
- New Hampshire is 5-5 on the season and enters the matchup with the Bears on a three-game winning streak with victories over Northeastern, Central Connecticut State and Stonehill.
- The Wildcats do not have a player averaging double-figures with both Adara Groman and Avery O'Connor averaging 9.4 points per game.
- O'Connor is the biggest deep threat for New Hampshire with 17 threes on the season. Groman is second on the team with eight.
- New Hampshire is shooting 34.6 percent from the field on the season but has shot 50 percent or better from the floor in each of its last two games.
- Brown holds a 13-10 advantage all-time in the series with New Hampshire. The Bears have won the last two meetings but the teams have not met since Nov. 24 of 2019.
