PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's basketball team (13-7, 5-3 Ivy) defeated the Yale Bulldogs (5-16, 1-7 Ivy) 66-52 on Saturday afternoon, completing a 2-0 series sweep.

Alyssa Moreland finished out Saturday's game with 10 points and rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season, and 14th of her career.
Yale was quick to the draw, starting the afternoon with a 13-0 run that spanned halfway through the first quarter. A pair of free throws from Young put an end to Yale's run, and kick-started a 10-1 run for Brown to end the quarter. The Bulldogs had a 14-10 lead heading into the second quarter.
The Bears erased Yale's lead when Arnolie knocked down a three-pointer around a minute into the second quarter. Brown added seven more points to extend their run to 22-1, before being cut off by a pair of free throws from Ciniya Moore. Brown's defense held Yale to just seven points in the second quarter, marking the 13th time this season it has limited an opponent to single digits in a quarter. Brown outscored Yale 14-7, and held a 24-21 lead heading into the break.
The Bulldogs took charge coming out of the break, scoring the first eight points to take a 29-24 lead. Brown went on a 10-0 run, as it tried to pull away from Yale. The Bulldogs' Ciniya Moore hit the last basket of the third quarter, but Yale still trailed by six heading into the final 10 minutes of play.
A three-pointer from Yale's Luisa Vydrova put the Bulldogs just four points shy from tying the game up midway through the fourth. Brown went on a 12-0 run, pulling away from Yale with two minutes to go. The Bears tacked on six points from the free-throw line to end the game and secure their 13th win of the season.
